Thousands of visitors and residents flock to the Sauble Falls each year where the Sauble Sawmill, located in Amabel Township, was once erected in the late 1800's before being destroyed by fire. In 1905 the hydroelectric plant was built in Sauble Falls to supply power to both Wiarton and properties north of the falls.

This property also houses a historic school house, campground, volleyball court, public washrooms and play structures which can be enjoyed seasonally. Kayaks and canoes can also be rented at this location for a relaxing trip along the Sauble River.

A beautiful place to live, Sauble Beach is home to many recreational and social organizations which are strong in membership and actively involved within the community. These organizations assist in making Sauble a vibrant and exciting place to enjoy all year round.
